There is a huge stigma in our shared culture around mental health issues. This is a fact, and just like the lingering anti-sexuality stank of the Puritans, this stigma against mental health struggles sucks a whole lot. So that’s why the March 8, 2026 episode of Whore School will be all about mental health and sex. That’s right, I’m going there. Let’s talk about some of the issues neurodivergent folks may face when they want to become intimate and sexual. Be bold, be brave, and just like our Disability and Sex episode, remember that your current state of health is most likley transitory.

Mental Health And Sex

Mistress Harper whoreschool.net 800 601 7259The field of mental health is wide and varied! That’s why this episode of the live adult sex education podcast will cover a whole lot of things. There is absolutely no way I can cover everything in depth, so I’m aiming for three major areas to focus on. First up, there’s the fun and joy of what ADHD and Autism can do to your sexuality. Then, of course, there’s the Mood Disorders and their havoc. And rounding out our collection we have Personality Disorders. (And a quick side bar on medication side effects and sex!)

Who Is Effected By Mental Health?

You may think to yourself that this particular topic won’t be relevant for you. You’re wrong. You have a mind, therefore mental health is a thing you will be and possibly currently are being effected by! And even if you, personally, aren’t struggling with what your mind is serving up, if you want to have sex with another person, the odds are they will have some sort of mental health challenges in their life. Knowing about the ways the mind can mess with the body is important, so, make sure to tune in for the live podcast, and leave your questions here to be answered on the air.
