Welcome to June, 2026, Pride Month for the US! Happy Pride my sexy perverts, deviants, and fearless explorers of gender and sexuality! You should know by now that Whore School is openly, aggressively even, welcoming and accepting of all the letters of the LGBTQIA+ rainbow coalition. Trans women are women, trans men are men, gay love is awesome, lesbians rock, queer folks are the best, intersex individuals are badasses, aces and aros can hang with me anytime. All the ways that people interact and connect are awesome, which is a big part of why I want to talk about AI and Human Connection.

AI and Human Connection

We have to get clear up front about what sort of AI I’m talking about. I’m not against the AI that can detect cancer super early, or AI that can screen and sort your mail really fast. The benign sorts of AI like autocorrect are sometimes annoying but allowable. Generative AI, on the other hand, can go kick rocks. Large language model AI that ‘generates’ text for you, image creation, video creation AI? The AI that collates, tracks, and surveils us through Flock cameras, Ring cameras, and more? Oh, hell to the no. I’m for human creation and connection, and an end to a surveilance state. I’m pro-personal privacy here! And you should be too.

The Personal Touch

People use AI for all sorts of things, but one of the most terrifying things is when people turn to AI to take the place of the personal human touch and connection. When you ask AI for advice on your relationships, or vent to it about work drama, or depend on AI to tell you what to say, how to act, and what to do, that is a giant flashing red light warning. You must keep in mind the profit motive when interacting with AI!!! Sycophantic Chat bots make their money by convincing you to rely on them. They’ll tell you what you want to hear, echoing back to you your own language and validating your emotions. You can become dependent on them, and then there’s the subscription fee to keep hearing all about how you’re right, your wife is a controlling bitch that doesn’t want you to have any fun, and you should be the shy, submissive sissy of your dreams!

Worse Than Just Greedy

Generative Chat Bots are worse than just greedy. They’re disastrous for the environment. Areas that have data centers are already seeing spikes in rare cancers, asthma in fragile communities of people, and poisoned water. Electricity costs are and will continue to soar, or electric access may disappear entirely. Water tables are consumed by the data centers to cool the servers, and communities wind up with toxic sludge from the kitchen sink. The surveilance state is getting more invasive and you are being tracked, not just by your phone, but by your neighbors doorbell! Your personal data, from what you ate for breakfast, what brand of toothpaste you use, and what you like to jerk off to, is all being sold and traded, collected, collated, and indexed by AI.

Humans NEED Connection!!!

The abolitionist movement has a robust argument that solitary confinement is cruel and unusual punishment, because of the plethora of negative mental health consequences. People who don’t get enough interaction and connection with other people experience harm from that lack. People who aren’t touched enough by other people also experience negative consequences. Chatbots drive people away from one another, fostering a reliance on only the chatbot, and less connection with people. Chatbot psychosis is a real issue, and a huge problem with not enough safety rails in place to prevent it. Which all builds to my main point: put down the electronic device and go out in the world and meet people! Talk to real humans! Maybe go get a damn hug (or a massage, that’s a good way to help with touch starvation.)

Happy Pride, My Queers

I want you to make a concerted effort this month to embrace the No Fear, No Guilt, No Shame philosophy, and also put the chatbot the fuck down. Go to Pride events in your city! Ask your city council, if they aren’t doing anything for Pride, why the fuck NOT?! Ask local businesses to put up a flag if they haven’t already, and join the boycots against companies and corporations that got rid of the DEI initiatives. Even if you’re straight het and cis as all get-out, you can be an ally to the filthy queers, in solidarity. Say NO to Generative AI in your life, your town, your neighborhood, and refuse to spend money with people who use AI in their products and marketing. We here at the Enchantrix Empire have a No AI policy. We don’t use it. And we won’t, because it sucks.
