Join Whore School on August 16, 2026 at 11 pm Eastern for How To Size A Bra, and learn everything you ever wanted to know about getting the right fit! It turns out it’s far more than just Small, Medium, and Large. You’ll need a cloth measuring tape or tailor’s measuring tape, because no other measuring device will do! A cloth measuring tape is flexible along the entire length, so you can wrap it around your body and get an accurate measurement. No, you cannot use a ruler, yardstick, or carpenter’s extendable measuring tape. Welcome to the world of feminine accessories, and yes, you do need a proper measuring tape for more than just a bra.
Femme Essentials
Women’s clothing is a wonderful world of fancy colors, fabrics, fits, styles, and sexy fun for everyone. The one thing the world of women’s fashion doesn’t have, however, is a single, unified and standardized system of sizing. A size ten in one pair of pants may be a size 4 in another, and you have no way to tell until you put them on. Or if you’re smart enough to take my advice and go look at the manufacturer’s website and track down their sizing chart. A sizing chart for clothing will tell you what body measurements will fit which sizes. This means that tailor’s measuring tape is your best friend when it’s time to go shopping.
