Sometimes I run into a person who thinks that because the sorts of services I provide are paid for, or not in person, that must mean they’re not as ‘real’ as in purpose non-paid interactions. That the only way domination and submission can possibly be worthwhile, is if they’re in person and there’s no financial aspect at all. Never mind how expensive BDSM gear is, how difficult to access classes and instruction can be, and how rare a compatible partner really is! Never fear, dear fans of Whore School. Distance Domination
What is Distance Domination, anyway? The short answer is that Distance Domination is any domination or BDSM encounter that takes place between two or more people that aren’t breathing the same air. So when your domme texts you good morning and reminds you of your daily tasks when she’s on vacation, or when you email with your partner over lunch to hammer out which account is paying for the registration for the Leather convention, that’s technically Distance Domination. What I do with partners over the phone, or internet? Also domination at a distance!
But, Is It REAL?!
Of course it’s real, we’re not hallucinating or immagining what’s going on, now are we? Let’s put aside questions about whether or not reality is a hologram or simulation on a cosmic computer, or the nature of thought (just go with Descartes, it’s faster), and simply assume that you’re probably of relatively sound mind, and so am I, and we’re both consenting adults here, so what we do together is absolutely fucking real.
